What Causes Facial Lines & Wrinkles
The use of our facial muscles repeatedly throughout our life causes wrinkles and frown lines to develop. In addition to this the slowing down of collagen and elastin production caused by the ageing process means that these lines become permanent as we get older. When you concentrate, squint or frown, the muscles in your face contract. After years of frequent contraction combined with other environmental and lifestyle factors, lines and wrinkles will form and eventually become permanent.
Anti Wrinkle Injections
Wrinkle relaxation treatment (Anti Wrinkle Injections) has become a popular non-surgical procedure to reduce and smooth lines and wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections are a natural protein solution that is injected using a very small needle in order to temporarily relax the facial muscles and thus reducing their movement. This in turn stops the skin creasing and allows it to recover, causing the lines to soften or even fade away. Treatments are not permanent however, an ongoing course of treatments can be extremely effective.

Forehead Lines
Forehead wrinkles are caused by the action of the frontalis muscle on the forehead. This muscle contracts when we raise our eyebrows. The raising of the frontalis muscle pulls the skin of the forehead up and causes forehead wrinkles which appear as lines across our forehead.

Forehead lines are usually treated at the same time as Frown lines.
Frown Lines
Frowning is not the most favourite human expression, and so are those fine vertical creases found between your brows (also known as elevens). If you are tired of seeing frown lines even when you are not frowning or notice them becoming deeper with time, it is time to take action.

If you’re starting to see traces in your late 20s or early 30s it is best to consider exploring preventative treatment options. The more you wait to address your forehead wrinkles the more difficult it will be to achieve the best possible results.

Crow's Feet
The appearance of fine lines, or ‘crow’s feet’ at the outer corners of the eyes, and their presence even when you’re not smiling, is often associated with ageing.
Crow's Feet / smile lines / eye wrinkles occur when we smile, using the outside part of the orbicularis oculi muscle. Crow's feet are a natural part of aging (and smiling!), yet that doesn't keep us from looking for solutions to minimize their appearance.
Eyebrow Lift
The brow is well supported and its position above the eye remains high on younger faces. However, the effects of ageing can cause the brow to drop, giving the eyelid a ‘hooded’ appearance. This can create horizontal folds in the surrounding skin.
An eyebrow lift procedure or a non-surgical brow lift is a very small procedure to smooth out skin wrinkles around the frontalis muscle on the forehead and lift droopy eyebrows (reduce the appearance of upper eyelid hooding).
Neferititi Neck Lift
A Nefertiti Lift relaxes the platysma (the muscle that sticks out when you flex your neck), allowing the upper facial muscles to pull upwards without resistance. This makes the jawline appear tighter and more defined.
It’s a procedure that lasts several months and may help you delay or skip a more invasive type of cosmetic surgery, such as a facelift.
Mouth Corners
Treatment is beneficial for relaxing the muscle pulling the corners of your mouth downwards. By injecting directly into the depressor anguli oris muscle, it blocks the transition of chemical messages sent from the nerve to cause the muscle to contract.
Marionette Lines
Marionette lines are wrinkles that extend from the corners of your mouth to your chin. Anti wrinkle injections can be used to relax the muscles which pull down the corners of your mouth and accentuate the appearance of marionette lines.
Smokers Lines
Smoker lines can be treated by using precise administration of anti wrinkle injections into the fine dynamic facial muscles around the mouth. These anti wrinkle injections can be used to prevent lines from developing/deepening, or to soften existing lines.
Chin Dimples
As we get older, the muscles in the chin, known as the mentalis muscles, become overactive – meaning they flex more often than they should, creating a dimpled, puckered appearance.

Lip flip - Involves injecting along the upper lip muscle, and cupids bow at certain points, near the border, to relax and ‘flip’ the lip to make the lip much more visible. This results in a fuller, plumper, but natural-appearing upper lip.

Will I Look Frozen?
No, Deborah prides herself on providing subtle and natural looking treatments giving a fresh look, which means preserving movement in the muscles whilst reducing lines and wrinkles. Professional treatments ensure the plastic frozen look is avoided.
Will the injections hurt?
The needles we use are incredibly fine and small. They are 0.30mm wide meaning that the injections are almost painless. The injections are not like a blood test and don't hurt. Furthermore, by using a specific type of solution and also using multiple needles to avoid blunting your treatment at Panemorfii will be a comfortable experience.

How noticeable will it be?*
At Panemorfii we are proud that we offer a discreet service with excellent techniques meaning your anti wrinkle treatment will be subtle. If you want to reduce wrinkles and remain looking natural, then you're in good hands. Remaining natural whilst having ongoing anti wrinkle injections is what we are are all about.

When will I see the effects?
The anti-wrinkle effects begin to take effect after 2-5 days with the greatest effect being seen after 3-4 weeks.

How long will the effects last for?*
The effects usually last between 3-4 months although results vary by individual. You will then notice a gradual return of muscle movement. The effects last longer on repeat injections with most clients achieving a good effect for between 4-6 months before requiring further injections.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Like with any cosmetic treatment, side effects are possible. Most are very minor, and include redness and slight soreness around the injection sites with the potential of some swelling. These usual pass within one to two hours. Less commonly, patients may experience some bruising and/or a mild headache.
Aftercare Advice
